Jiegao Port is located 4 kilometers southeast of Ruili City, on the east bank of the Ruili River, covering an area of 1.92 square kilometers. It is closely connected to Muse Town in Myanmar and directly connected to Myanmar by land. It was historically known as an "enclave". In the past, people could only rely on bamboo rafts and wooden boats to cross the river. It was not until the construction of the Jiegao Bridge across the river in 1989 that the two banks were connected.
