Nansi Tang Pagoda is located in the southwest corner of Pucheng County, Weinan, which is now Pucheng Middle School. It was built in the first year of Tang Zhenguan (AD 627), and is now a key cultural relic protection unit in the province.

The Tang Pagoda of the South Temple was originally a relic pagoda of the Huiji Temple. It is a square brick pagoda with ten levels on four sides and a height of about 39 meters. There is a stone Buddha statue of the Tang Dynasty facing the entrance of the bottom floor, and a stone tablet is embedded in the middle of the north side of the second floor, on which is engraved the six characters "Pagoda of Buddha Relics", each layered with eaves, and the bottom is made of water chestnut teeth. Up to the 15th floor, the eaves of the above floors are gradually reduced, and the height and width of the tower body are also reduced layer by layer. The whole tower body is exquisite and beautiful, tall and straight.

During the earthquake in the 34th year of Ming Jiajing (1555 A.D.), the Tang Pagoda of Nansi Temple cracked and the top two floors collapsed. The tower has been restored, and stairs are installed on the lower three floors of the tower for climbing up and down the tower.
