The stone lotus was born on the cliff behind the Lianhua Temple in Zhongyiyuan. It is a lifelike lotus-shaped stalactite. Legend: When Shakyamuni traveled to the Tibetan mountains, he lectured on scriptures and Taoism with Lao Tzu. He felt the profoundness of oriental culture, so he left lotus flowers under his feet as a memorial.
