Wuhua Meadow is located between Shitoucheng Reservoir and Qingnian Reservoir in the hinterland of Jinlianchuan Grassland. The Wuhua meadow natural grassland is a typical primitive wetland grassland in China. The endlessly flowing Hulu River flows through the grassland, nourishing this fertile land and making the grassland vegetation very luxuriant. The average height of pasture grass is 0.8 meters. More than 170 kinds of vegetation have been found in the meadow, among which Ranunculaceae plants are the main ones, and there are more than ten kinds of rare plants. The five-color flower meadow is a well-preserved, high-vegetation coverage and ornamental natural meadow in Hebei Province so far. Wuhua Meadow is named after the five colors of flowers that bloom in summer and autumn, and has the reputation of "the best meadow in the world" and "the sea of flowers in North China". More than 630 kinds of vegetation have been found in Wuhua Meadow, among which Ranunculaceae plants are the main ones, and there are more than ten kinds of rare plants in the province or in China, such as wild poppy, big-leaf gentian, sand ginseng, carnation Flowers, water Ophiopogon japonicus, etc. In Wuhua Meadow, there is a small river running from north to south, twists and turns, and merges into a small water park in the middle. During the rainy season in midsummer, the river level rises and the water flow is turbulent. A few small fish swim by quickly, creating waves of water. Sometimes there are a few undercurrents gushing out from the bottom of the moor, creating circles of ripples, embellishing the beauty of the meadow scenery and bringing mystery and bizarreness. Every summer, yellow, white, purple, pink and other colorful flowers bloom on thousands of acres of meadows, forming extremely beautiful pictures. At the end of July and the beginning of August, nasturtiums are in full bloom, and the ground is golden. Against the backdrop of the blue sky and white clouds, together with the surrounding mountains, river valleys, fields, and villages, it forms a unique grassland beauty on the dam. Visitors walk along the plank road or take a rest in the gazebo, accompanied by the fragrance of flowers and blending with the beautiful scenery. In addition to sightseeing, riding a fast horse, taking a ride on a cross-country motorcycle, or purchasing some unique mushrooms and miscellaneous grains on the dam, and wearing a garland made of dried plums are all pleasant choices.
