Susan Prison is the only remaining prison of the Ming Dynasty in China. It is famous for the fact that the famous Beijing prostitute Su San (Yutangchun) was wronged and imprisoned here and the drama "Yutangchun" was spread.

The prison was first built in the second year of Ming Hongwu (1369), mainly composed of ordinary prison cells and death row cells. There are 12 rooms in two rows, and the sky above the ordinary prison cells is densely covered with barbed wire, and copper bells hang high, and the bells ring loudly at the slightest touch. Each cell is only 4 square meters, dark and humid, without sunlight all day long. The prison now displays the laws of the Ming Dynasty and various instruments of torture, as well as the real objects of Su San's suffering.

The death row prison is commonly known as "Tiger Head Prison". The head of "Qian" carved on the prison door is exactly like "Tiger Head", with a blue face and long fangs, which is terrifying. There is a pillow kiln hole in the courtyard of the death row, which is divided into three rooms. The one on the west side once imprisoned Su San. There are two prison doors, and the wall of the death cell is as thick as 1.7 meters, which is filled with quicksand to prevent the death row prisoners from digging the wall and escaping.

The east room of the outer courtyard of Susan Prison is a wax museum showing the origin and background of Susan's story of joys and sorrows.
