Kuankuoshui is located in the north-central west of Suiyang County, 60 kilometers away from the county seat. It is the only remaining deciduous and evergreen broad-leaved mixed forest in the eastern section of the Dalou Mountains in Guizhou Province. Qingxi River, Yangyan River, Chiwei River and other rivers have deep valleys, towering peaks on both sides, and the karst landform is particularly obvious, forming a natural landscape of virgin forests and karst caves.
