Sun Moon Lake Cable Car is a cable car system in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, with a total cost of NT$1 billion. The entire line is a public cable car invested and operated by the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village in the BOO (Build-Operate-Own, private planning, construction and operation) model System, which started operation on December 28, 2009. The route runs from the Sun Moon Lake Youth Activity Center of the National Salvation Mission to the Guanshan Building of Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. It is 1.877 kilometers long and has only 2 stops. During the cable car ride, you can overlook the famous Sun Moon Lake and Puli Basin.

Year-round Monday to Friday 10:30-16:00 Saturday to Sunday 10:00-16:30; operating hours may be extended in response to the demand for large-scale events (such as cherry blossom festivals). Or due to weather factors, power outages, system maintenance and other conditions, the operating hours will also be adjusted. If there is any change in operating hours, please refer to the on-site announcement or the official website announcement. In principle, the first Wednesday of every month is the day when the cable car is shut down for maintenance and closed to the public. If due to annual major maintenance needs, a suspension date will be added according to the announcement. Parking lot opening hours: 09:00-18:00
