Sun River Forest Paradise, formerly known as Caiyang River National Forest Park, means that the sun that never sets rises in the hearts of the people of Pu’er, and that Mother Earth nourishes and nurtures them. From rapids to standing water, from soil to surface, from grass to shrubland, there are many kinds of animals living in this land. The park is full of ditches and rivers, dense forests, and a subtropical rainforest scenery. There are black bears, bison, green peacocks, macaques and other protected animals inhabiting the park.
