Suzaku National Forest Park is located in the upper reaches of Donglao River in the south of Hu County, Xi'an City, on the north side of Qinling Liang. It is divided into 5 scenic spots and has hundreds of scenic spots. The mountains in the park are part of the fold belt of the North Qinling Mountains. The front mountain is wide and flat, surrounded by mountains and water, and is extremely beautiful.
The park is an ecological scenic tourist area with natural forests as the main body, and is divided into five scenic spots: Qinlingliang Scenic Area, Luhua River Scenic Area, Longtanzi Scenic Area, Qixiu Peak Scenic Area, and Glacier Cui Scenic Area. Qinling Liang Scenic Spot and Luhua River Scenic Spot are located in the front of the park, which are the surrounding resorts for leisure and summer resort; Longtanzi Scenic Spot is dominated by water features, Qixiu Peak Scenic Spot is dominated by mountain views, and Glacier Green Scenic Spot is dominated by plant landscapes, meteorological landscapes and glacier relics. It is the main scenic spot for tourists to go sightseeing.
The park is located in the hinterland of ten thousand hectares of forest, with wide channels, dense forests, magical mountains and rivers, and pleasant climate. There are rivers, streams, waterfalls, and pools among the thousand-layered green waves, forming five major scenic spots. Numerous strange cliffs and rocks are hidden among dense forests, giant trees, exotic flowers and pines, forming a natural landscape painting. The park is rich in animal and plant resources, with a wide variety of species. There are more than 580 species of plants. The rare and endangered plants include Lianxiang tree, Lingchun wood, money maple, Chinese hazel, rowan, etc.; wild animals include more than ten species of mammals, birds, etc. There are more than ten species, and the protected animals include wildebeest, suman, leopard, and red-bellied tragopan.
