Taichung Metropolitan Park is located in Xitun District, Taichung City, covering an area of 88 hectares. It is a newly established metropolitan park in Taichung.
The design concept is positioned as a "metropolis forest park", providing a visual landscape of large open space, green space, and green landscaping. It has become a space for leisure and recreation for the people in the greater Taichung area. It also has the functions of an urban green buffer zone and disaster prevention and refuge. The vegetation, pools and wetlands in the park have also become habitats for animals.
