Taipei 101 is a landmark building in Taipei that integrates offices, observation decks and shopping centers.

Building 101 has 101 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. Among them, B2-B4 is the parking lot; B1 to 4th floor is a shopping mall, which brings together various watch brands, well-known boutiques and designer brands. Whether it is clothing, jewelry or makeup accessories, it is closely synchronized with the global trend. The 4th floor of the metropolitan plaza can taste Michelin. Samsung’s gourmet food and leisurely afternoon tea; there are many banks and securities service financial centers on the 5th floor; office buildings from the 6th to the 84th floor; the business club on the 85th floor; there is a "magic ball" on the 88th floor - wind damper . The function is to achieve the purpose of earthquake resistance by hoisting a large iron ball weighing several hundred tons in the middle and upper part of the building to reduce the shaking of the building. There is also a multimedia audio-visual aisle, where you can have an overview of the famous scenic spots Sun Moon Lake, Kenting, Alishan, Yushan, Beitou Hot Springs, the essence of Taipei 101 New Year’s Eve fireworks over the years, and there is also a world-class gem art museum - Jubao 88.

The 89th floor is the observation deck inside the building, which has a good view, intimate photography service, audio guide counter, ice cream shop, and souvenir shop. There is also a ticket office and entrance on the 91st floor on the south side (the exit is on the north side).

Every New Year's Eve party in Taipei is celebrated with the New Year's Eve fireworks display at Taipei 101 as the finale. The New Year's Eve event held with the theme of fireworks in a few minutes, combined with the surrounding New Year's Eve events, attracts hundreds of thousands of people to watch the scene every year, and has become one of the world's most famous New Year's Eve events.
