Deji Foreign Firm is a commercial office established by the British East India Company in the 6th year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1867). It was located in Haitoushe, Anping at that time, and was engaged in trading bulk goods such as sugar. At that time, Deji foreign firm, Yiji foreign firm, Heji foreign firm, Dongxing foreign firm and Yanji foreign firm were collectively known as the five major foreign firms in Anping.

Tak Kee Co. adopts the arcade model to avoid rain and sun. The Anping Tree House next door was the warehouse of Tak Kee Co., Ltd. at that time. The relationship between the two is inseparable, and even now they are managed jointly.
