The hometown of giant pandas, Tangjiahe Nature Reserve, is a rare and magical world full of beautiful scenery and rare treasures. It is located 80 kilometers north of Qingchuan County, Guangyuan City, bordering Wenxian County, Gansu Province in the north, and Pingwu County, Mianyang City in the west.
Tangjiahe has beautiful scenery. There are more than 2,400 kinds of plants, including more than 900 rare plants, such as arch cave, silver fir, money tree, etc. They show their ability to decorate nature in their own unique ways in every season. . In spring and summer, the mountains and plains are full of exotic flowers and plants, competing for beauty. In autumn, red maple trees, yellow ginkgo trees, green pines and cypresses... dye the entire Tangjia River colorful. In winter, it is a snowy scene again.
Tangjiahe is an important part of the main habitat of giant pandas in the Minshan Mountains. It has been designated as an A-level nature reserve by the World Wildlife Fund and is also one of the hotspots for global biodiversity conservation. Giant pandas have been bred here for generations, and there are currently 60 of them. When visiting, you can see pandas in various poses and with different expressions at any time. You can also take pictures with national treasures if you have the opportunity. In addition, you can also see a wide variety of strange birds and animals, such as golden monkeys, tigers, leopards, black bears, takins, Chinese sand ducks, golden eagles, green-tailed red pheasants and other national key protected animals.
There are many magical legends and realistic natural landscapes in Tangjiahe, which are fascinating. Motianling in the north is more than 3,800 meters high, and there is a turquoise lake on the top, with a water surface of about six acres. The lake is bottomless and does not dry up all year round. According to the locals, if you make a lot of noise here, heavy rain will fall in an instant, and even hail will start. This natural scenery has been added many magical colors by people for many years. When the local people encounter drought, they go to the mountain to fire gongs and fire guns, praying for rain to save crops, and they can achieve their goals every time.
