Tangshan Nanhu National Urban Wetland Park is located in the southern mining and sinking area of Tangshan City. It is one of the second batch of urban wetland parks approved by the state. When it was approved as an urban wetland park in 2005, it covered an area of 699 hectares, of which the water surface area was 115 hectares. In recent years, with the construction and development of the wetland park, on the basis of protecting the original wetland, the surrounding environment has been treated and improved. With construction, the area of the park has increased to 1100 hectares, with a water surface area of 332 hectares. At present, the park has more than 300 species of plants and more than 120 species of wild birds. It has become an urban wetland park with shady trees, green lawns, clear lake water and beautiful scenery, which integrates leisure, entertainment and education.
