Tangshan University (Tangshan University) is located in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It is a public full-time general undergraduate college that focuses on engineering and coordinates the development of multiple disciplines such as literature, law, art, and management. In 1985, Southwest Jiaotong University supported Tangshan to establish the Tangshan branch. In 2002, the Tangshan Branch of Southwest Jiaotong University, Tangshan Higher Technical College, and Tangshan Staff University merged to form Tangshan College. In 2014, Tangshan Branch of Hebei University of Science and Technology was substantively merged into Tangshan University. In 2015, Tangshan Foreign Economic and Trade School was substantively merged into Tangshan University. As of April 2019, the school is divided into four campuses: University West Road, Huayan North Road, Hebei Road, and Longze Road.
