Tashi Island is a small island located in the southwest of Basongcuo, Tibet, China, about 100 meters from the shore.
There is Cuozong Temple built in the late Tang Dynasty on the island, which is the famous Nyingma Temple of the Red Sect in Tibet. The Cuozong Temple is a civil structure with two floors above and below, where there are Jampa Buddha, Avalokitesvara and Golden Boy and Jade Girl. The reefs on the island are carved into unique animal images and Buddha statues.
