The former site of the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall is located on West Cuihu Road in Kunming City, close to Cuihu Park and Yunnan University.
The martial arts hall was first built in 1909, and it was known as one of the three major martial arts halls in the country when it was first built.
The building at the old site is currently well preserved, and it is an elegant yellow building. The interior of the building is open as an exhibition hall, with the large classroom (auditorium), armory, and long-term permanent exhibitions showing the school history of the martial arts hall, the 99 Uprising and the National Defense Movement
