The Jiehe Ferry of Wujiang River, 45 kilometers away from Weng'an County, is the main ferry to Zunyi. The river is more than 120 meters wide, and the cliffs on both sides form a "natural danger of Wujiang River". On December 31, 1934, after the "Monkey Field Meeting", the Central Red Army immediately made a decision to forcibly cross the Wujiang River. On January 1, 1935, after 3 days and 3 nights of fighting, the Central Red Army forcibly crossed the Wujiang River, defeated the Qian army, and marched towards Zunyi. The battle site was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit in 1982, and was listed as a provincial and state patriotic education base in 1997.
