Qianchi Building is a small road cut out at the extremely steep part of the cliff, hovering above the cliff. There are more than 370 stone steps, the width of each stone step can barely accommodate the soles of the feet sideways, and the width of the road can only accommodate one person up and down. Tourists need to hold the iron chain in hand and use both hands and feet to climb along the steep mountain road.

 

The thousand-foot building is shaped like a crack, with upright walls and stone-hewn ladders. Visitors passing through this place are like walking through a well, and climbing out of the well when they reach the mouth of the building, they will feel supernatural and refined. The exit of Qianchi Building is called "patio". If the exit is covered with iron plates, the climbing road will be completely cut off and there will be no way to go. This is a verification of "a road in Huashan since ancient times". This is the "patio", and the cliffs are engraved with words of praise such as "Taihua Throat" and "Qi Swallow Dongying", describing that the mountain is indeed as dangerous as a throat.
