Tianchi Park is located in the western suburbs of Yibin City, Sichuan Province, 9 kilometers away from the urban area. Tianchi was named Dianchi Lake and Lingbo Lake in ancient times, also known as West Lake. There are different opinions about the cause of Tianchi, or it was formed due to the change of the Jinsha River, or it was caused by the earthquake and the land subsidence.
