Tianjing Pavilion is located on the Dongyuan Mountain of Erhai Lake in Dali. The mountain suddenly stretches towards the Erhai Lake. It faces water on three sides, with cliffs standing on it. The terrain is dangerous. Tianjing Pavilion is a four-story and eight-sided pavilion towering on the top of the mountain. Dali Tianjing Pavilion and Luoquan Temple, a famous temple, complement each other. Luoquan Temple in Dali has the Daxiong Hall, Pilu Patriarch Hall, etc.

During the Nanzhao and Dali kingdoms, it was a very influential Buddhist holy place. It is said that the story of "Looking at the husband cloud" happened here. There are Tianjing Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, Prince Pavilion, Baxian Tower, Luoquan Temple, Luoquan Pagoda ruins, Eryan inscriptions, poet poem carvings and stone mules in the scenic area. Every place has a long-standing legend. Every time the Avalokitesvara meeting, Buddha meeting, sea play meeting, Xinghui Festival, and Torch Festival, tourists and pilgrims gather here, and it is very lively. Inside and outside the building of the Eight Immortals Tower, there are enshrined the upper Eight Immortals and the lower Eight Immortals, and Luoquan Temple also enshrines the so-called cultural phenomenon of the integration of the three religions. The pilgrims who come here eat vegetarian food on the first and fifteenth day of the Lunar New Year, but they can be dizzy on weekdays, which is very affordable. It reflects the connotation of Bai culture in a concentrated way. It is worth visiting and seeing in Dali.

In the scenic area, you can also listen to the simple and beautiful "Daben Song" of the Bai nationality sung by folk artists, and you can also taste the "Eight Bowls of the Bai Nationality", which is mainly boiled Erhai fish. In the words of tourists, this is a taste of "delicacy on earth" in a "fairyland on earth".
