The Moon World is located on Moon Road, Tinliao District, Kaohsiung City. The Moon World refers to a landscape with rugged terrain on the surface, and its scene is as desolate and barren as the moon. In addition to this one, there are three other moon worlds in Taiwan. This kind of landform is due to the loose geology, coupled with rainy or stream cutting, the surface gravel or soil is easy to collapse, forming countless large and small erosion ditches, so it seems that the mountain here is grayish white, and it is not suitable for farming or inhabitable.

It is open all day throughout the year; the Moon World is open all day, and the Geological Interpretation Center is open from 10:00 to 17:00.
