Tianlong Tunbao Ancient Town is located in Pingba County in the west of Guizhou Province, deep in the mountains of karst landform. Here, you can walk slowly for half an hour in the typical karst pastoral scenery, climb up Tiantai Mountain, climb up to the Wulong Temple on the cliff, look down on this land, and feel the typical Tunpu life.


Tianlong Tunbao is not very big, and it takes one hour for you to take a quick tour. In Tunpu, tourists can enjoy the historic quaint slate houses and old-style dwellings, see Tunpu women in "Fengyang Han costumes", and see the folk drama known as "living fossil" - Dixie performance. You can also explore alone in this stone complex full of ancient laneways and courtyards.

must see tips

1. It is worth buying local silverware in Tunpu Scenic Area. Although the local area was developed earlier, the commercial atmosphere is not very strong, and the quality and craftsmanship of the silverware are very authentic.

2. The tea post at the entrance of the village will provide tea to tourists. If you are tired from shopping, you may wish to sit down and have a drink, which will not only quench your thirst, but also meditate.

3. The tour guide service includes Tunpu Village and Tiantai Mountain, but if you don’t have a car, the local girl who is the tour guide will not have the strength to accompany you to Tiantai Mountain.

4. Both Anshun Bus West Station and South Station have buses to Pingba, but the bus at West Station takes the old road and passes through Tianlong Town, while the bus at South Station takes high-speed all the way and can only be at Tianlongkou of the highway. It takes 3 kilometers to get to the gate of the scenic spot after getting off the bus. It is recommended to take the bus directly at the West Railway Station.
