Tianmen Mountain Cableway is located in Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park in Zhangjiajie City. When tourists visit Tianmen Mountain, they must take the sightseeing cableway to go up the mountain. The Tianmenshan cableway has a total length of 7454 meters, a height difference of 1277 meters, a total of 98 cars, and a one-way running time of about 30 minutes. Among them, the local slope between the station and the upper station is as high as 37 degrees, which is rare in the world.
The Tianmenshan cableway has three stations: lower, middle and upper. The next station is located in Guanliping (in the urban area) in Yongding District, and the last station is the top of Tianmen Mountain, where you can go to the scenic spot Ghost Ancient Plank Road and Glass Plank Road. Zhongzhan can also be regarded as a transfer center, where tourists can transfer to scenic environmental protection vehicles to Tianmen Cave. The cableway station building uses white and green as the basic colors, symbolizing white clouds and nature, and is magnificent, transparent and elegant. Tourists can overlook Tianmen Cave by taking the cableway.
