Tianshan Dam is the dam of Zhaobishan Reservoir. It was named Tianshan Dam to commemorate the three-year construction of the builders against the wind and snow. The Zhaobishan Reservoir Project is the controlling backbone reservoir of the Banfanggou River Basin in Urumqi County. The total storage capacity of the reservoir project is 7.352 million cubic meters, and the project is composed of dams, diversion tunnels, spillways, and roads in the reservoir area.
