Tiexi Scenic Area is located 4 kilometers north of Zhenyuan County, Guizhou Province. It is one of the top ten scenic spots of Wuyang River in the national key scenic spot. The area where Tieshan River flows through has deep valleys, steep mountains, strange rocks and caves, flying springs and hidden currents, as well as native vegetation and rare animals. It is a nearby town And the scenery is beautiful and the environment is quiet.
Due to the characteristics of the river bed and the different areas it flows through, there are different names: the section from the source to Maluhe Village is called "Ganxi"; the section from Maluhe Village to Longchi is called "Malu River"; the section from Longchi to Heitanggoukou is called "Longtang River"; the section from Heitanggou to Xinqiao Karst Cave is called "Wengzi River"; the section from Xinqiao Karst Cave to Tiexikou is called "Tieshan River". Tiexi is a natural scenic spot famous for its beautiful myths and legends, primitive forest vegetation, and peculiar stalactite caves. The Longchi here is as calm as a mirror, bottomless, and as blue as the sea, like a sapphire blue mirror. It is known as the "Little Jiuzhai in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau".
