The tomb of Marquis Wu in the southern suburb of Mian County is the place where Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Shu Han Dynasty in the Three Kingdoms, was buried. The tomb of Marquis Wu is located at the foot of Dingjun Mountain. The tomb area is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Most of the buildings on the tomb and in the temple are large temples with three courtyards connected together in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Entering the gate of the scenic spot, you will be greeted by a piece of Chinese cypress and ancient pines, which looks quiet and simple. In the courtyard of the main hall, there are many poems praising Zhuge Liang in the past dynasties and stone tablets for restoring tomb temple records.
When you enter the main hall, you can see the statue of Zhuge Liang sitting upright in the niche of the main hall, with a lun scarf, a feather fan, and a crane cloak, with a solemn look. On both sides of Zhuge Liang are two generals, Guan Xing and Zhang Bao, who are said to be the descendants of Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Zhuge Liang's tomb is at the back of the main hall, with his head facing south and his feet facing north, representing the meaning of "looking at the Central Plains in the north and standing in Shuhan in the south". Zhuge Liang's tomb is surrounded by brick walls. There is a small pavilion in front of the tomb. Inside the pavilion is a stone tablet with the inscription "Tomb of Zhongwuhou Zhuge of the Han Dynasty" engraved on it. Behind the tomb, there are two ancient osmanthus plants, which are said to have been planted in the Han Dynasty.
When tourists visit Wuhou Tomb, it is recommended to visit Wuhou Temple and Ma Chao Tomb in the west of the county.
