Zhiziluo means a good place in the Lisu language. It has been the administrative center of the Nujiang area since the late Qing Dynasty. It is currently the residence of the Zhiziluo Village Committee, and houses and buildings from the 1960s and 1970s are still preserved. Behind Zhiziluo is Biluo Snow Mountain, and Gaoligong Mountain is in front of it, and the famous Nu River rushes by. The seasons here are like spring and the climate is pleasant.
