There are 15 peaks above 6,000 meters and 5 peaks above 6,800 meters around Tomur Peak, which is the dense peak area of Tianshan Mountains. In the foothills and river valleys of Tomur Peak, there are spruces and tassons all over the mountains, which are evergreen all the year round. There are 382 species of protected higher plants, such as snow lotus and alpine astragalus; wild animals mainly include 77 species of terrestrial vertebrates; and more than 1,000 species of insects.
The spectacular scenery in the Tomur Peak area is the Khan Tengger Glacier, which is the longest one among the more than 800 glaciers on the Tomur Peak and one of the eight largest valley glaciers in the world. There are countless unpredictable ice lakes, hundreds of meters deep ice cracks, light blue ice melting caves, crystal walls, ice towers, ice cones, ice mushrooms, ice tables and subglacial rivers on the glacier. Glacier wonderland. The weather here is changeable, sometimes it is clear, and there is a thunderstorm suddenly. Looking up, the snow and dust not far away are billowing and flying down, setting off snow waves tens to hundreds of meters high.
In addition to the spectacular glaciers, there are many famous hot springs in the Tomur Peak area.
