The Sanjiao City site is located on the north side of Sanjiaocheng Village, Shuangwan Town, 15 kilometers northwest of Jinchang City, covering an area of ​​about 4.3 million square meters. It is a large-scale site from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Warring States Period. It is composed of hillock tombs, Shangtugou tombs, sacrificial pits and other parts.
A total of 568 tombs and more than 2,000 cultural relics were unearthed at the Sanjiaocheng site, including gold, bronze, iron, stone, pottery, oracle bones, shell coins, woolen fabrics, and leather. Gold wares include gold inlaid jade earrings, half-moon necklaces and so on. The pottery is mainly sandy red-brown pottery, the pottery is rough, and the shape is small. There are many single-ear pots, cylindrical cups and round-bottom pots with double shoulder ears; The neck and shoulders are painted purple, and the lower part is basically unpainted and rarely decorated. The bronze wares are rich in types, including bronze knives, bronze cannons, copper bead-shaped decorations, copper pipes, copper pendants, and copper bells, etc., and their shapes are mostly similar to those of the Ordos bronze wares. All the fine cultural relics displayed in the Shajing Culture Exhibition Area of ​​Gansu Provincial Museum were unearthed from the Sanjiaocheng site.
