Tseringche Axue Mountain Museum is located in Duodigou in the northern suburb of Lhasa. It is the first private mountain museum in China. The museum is divided into natural museum, humanities museum, humanistic spirit museum and mountaineering museum. The Museum of Nature displays a large number of oil paintings and ink paintings with the theme of snow mountains, as well as specimens of animals and plants growing on the plateau; the Museum of Humanities exhibits the folk customs of the mountain people around the Himalayas; the Museum of Humanities has many Buddha statues and thangkas , which interprets the love and awe of the Tibetan people for mountains and beliefs; the mountaineering hall shows the various history of climbing the Himalayas, with many climbing photos and equipment, among which the "Chinese Ladder" has stood on the peak of Mount Everest at an altitude of 8,700 for 33 years. "It can be regarded as the treasure of the town hall. Here, you may often meet Tibetan mountaineers who have climbed snow peaks over 8,000 meters, and you can communicate with them and take photos together.
