Tukai Desert is located 7 kilometers southwest of Huocheng County, 43°55′18″~44°01′28″ north latitude, 80°43′47″~80°51′18″ east longitude, covering an area of 130,000 mu. Located in the area surrounded by Langan Township, Huiyuan Township, Sandao Township and Yili River, it is a young desert with seemingly fixed and semi-fixed sand dunes as the main body and partly flowing. It is the only desert in the oasis in Xinjiang.
