Shuanghu is hidden in the valley on the southern slope of Qiayite Mountain on the west bank of Kanas Lake. It is called "Hulbanur" in Mongolian. The surface of the lake is about 1.4 square kilometers, and it is oval in shape. It is formed by two long and narrow lakes in series, like a pair of twin sisters, so it is also called "Fairy Sisters Lake".
The glacier water from the melting of the Qiayite Glacier and the local precipitation converge into the twin lakes, which then flow into Kanas Lake. The lake is clear, green and crystal clear; there are many small red fish in the lake, which can be used for boating and fishing; the lake is surrounded by continuous peaks, and the original spruce shades the sun, and the lake and mountains are integrated.
