Ulanqab Grassland is located in the central part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, bordering Hebei Province in the east, Xilinguole League in the northeast, Shanxi Province in the south, Hohhot in the southwest and Baotou in the northwest , at the border with Mongolia in the north, with a total area of 54,000 square kilometers.
