Walking Marriage Bridge is located on the east side of Lugu Lake, across the grass sea of floating reeds, and is a well-known landscape around Lugu Lake. The Mosuo people here follow the custom of walking marriage, which means "men don't marry, women don't marry". During walking marriage, men will go to the woman's home through the walking marriage bridge, so this bridge is also called "magpie bridge".
The Walking Marriage Bridge is about 300 meters long, and on both sides are large reeds growing in the grassy sea water. Walking on the bridge, you can see the green and fresh scenery everywhere. Because walking on the Marriage Bridge is related to the love of the Mosuo people, it is also regarded as a bridge of love by many couples.
