Wanghai Tower is located in Zhaotong City. It was built by Shen Sheng, the magistrate of En'an County, in the 25th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. Shen Shenglin built a three-story pavilion on the gate ridge. Although the building is not high, it is surrounded by mountains and water, long dikes and willow smoke, and tens of thousands of acres of land. This is Wanghai Tower. During the Xianfeng period, the Wanghai Tower was destroyed by Bingxuan. During the Guangxu period, funds were raised to rebuild it. Houses were added in front of the building, a corridor was added, and a wall was used to protect it. Pavilions were built on the east and west bridges in front of the building, and flowers and trees were planted around it.
