Wanlong Baideng Mountain Ski Resort

Wanlong Baideng Mountain Ski Resort is located in Baideng Mountain Forest Park of Datong City, about 15 kilometers away from the city center. It is one of the important components of Datong Wanlong Baideng Mountain International Tourism Resort. Baideng Mountain is an ancient battlefield where the famous "Siege of Baideng" took place in history. Today it is called Mapu Mountain. It was once listed as one of the eight scenic spots in ancient clouds for "collecting cool snow".

Wanlong Baideng Mountaineering Ski Resort is a sports and skiing leisure resort mainly based on elementary and intermediate skiing entertainment and supported by passionate skiing. The altitude is about 1240 meters above sea level and the vertical drop is about 122 meters. The average snow season of the ski resort can reach 120 days, and the best snow quality period is from mid-November of the current year to mid-March of the following year.

The ski resort has built related supporting facilities integrating comprehensive service halls, cableways, and ski trails. There are 16 open ski trails, including 4 primary trails and 6 intermediate trails. The total length of the ski trails is more than 8,600 meters, which can accommodate more than 3,000 people There is also a snow entertainment park and snow circle area specially designed for children and snow entertainers, consisting of snow sculpture corridors, snow turntables, snow mazes, snow castle parks, and snowmobiles.
