The waterfall fossil is mainly composed of mixed granite, 100 meters high and 300 meters wide. The surface features of the rock mass are different from each other. The surface layer of the rock mass in the middle is distributed vertically, as if water is pouring down from a broken wall, showing the majestic momentum of "flying down three thousand feet, suspected to be the Milky Way falling nine days". There are many pits of different sizes around the rock mass, with a depth of 0.1-0.3 meters and a diameter of about 0.1-0.5 meters, just like "Buddhist niches". The reason for this phenomenon is that other rock masses with different material components are mixed in the granite that constitutes these pits. Their hardness is different from that of granite. The surface slowly forms gaps, and finally completely separates and falls off, leaving pits one by one. There are countless Buddhist niches, and the waterfall fossil rocks seem to be transformed into Mount Sumeru with "infinite niches, among which there are countless transformed Buddhas". Looking at the entire rock mass from a distance, it seems to be a waterfall standing still on it. Those honeycomb-shaped pits, like the waves stirred up, stay permanently on the rock wall, imprinting the traces of time.
