Weixin County Library was established in 1983. In 1999, the Provincial Department of Culture allocated funds to build a library building with an area of 1,980 square meters. The site is located at No. 13, Jiulong Road, Tashi Town, in the center of the county. The environment is elegant. In 2005, Weixin County Library was approved by the Ministry of Culture. It is a national third-level library with 13 staff, including 5 professional technicians, 8 technicians and 3 party members. The source of funding for the library is financial appropriation, mainly for staff salaries. There are currently 34,327 books in the library. The service windows opened to readers in the library include: lending room, newspaper reading room, children's reading room, electronic reading room, and multimedia training room. .
