The Tashi Conference Memorial Hall is located at the junction of the three provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan. It was established to commemorate the conference held by the central government in Tashi Town and other places in February 1935. It was prepared for construction in December 1976, completed and opened to the outside world in December 1977. In January 1983, the site of the Tashi Conference was approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and announced as the second batch of provincial key cultural relics protection units. In April 1997, the museum was named the first batch of "Yunnan Provincial Patriotic Education Bases" by the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government. The memorial hall covers an area of 8,960 square meters, including two basic displays, the main display of the Tashi Conference site and the auxiliary display of the Tashi Exhibition Hall.
