Pingyao Wentaofang Museum of Ancient Weapons is located on the West Street of the ancient city, covering a total area of more than 2,000 square meters. The museum preserves more than a thousand pieces of weapons in my country from the primitive society to the Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing and the Anti-Japanese War. Since its opening in September 2010, the museum has always adhered to the public welfare nature of "free visits and free explanations" and is open to the public, receiving nearly one million tourists from home and abroad for free every year.
