The Western Gobi Park integrates natural scenery and cultural landscape, including two major scenic spots, Tuzigou and Ayikul. It covers an area of ​​45 square kilometers, including 25 square kilometers of natural vegetation protection area. Tuzigou is also called Xidagou. The Xigou was formed by the movement of the earth's crust for hundreds of millions of years. It is a north-south hill scoured ditch with a length of 9 kilometers and a width of 500-800 meters. Ayikule Reservoir is an artificial plain reservoir. The terrain of Tuzigou is uneven and patchwork. The bottom of the trench is Gobi sand, and the trenches on both sides are weathered sandstone remnants.

Ayikule Scenic Area has fishing, children's amusement, beach volleyball, boating tour and other recreational items. Since 2000, Karamay City has held activities such as a hundred people crossing Ayikul, dragon boat races, and beach volleyball games in Ayikul every year.
