Xixia Museum is located in the Mausoleum of Xixia King at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Yinchuan City, Ningxia. Covering an area of 5,300 square meters, it is divided into upper and lower floors. There are 9 exhibition halls of various types, and the basic displays are composed of Xixia history, Xixia royal tombs and Xixia academic research results. The museum is built in the style of dense eaves of Xixia pagodas, with a unique style. It not only has the momentum of modern architecture, but also echoes the ruins of the mausoleum area, forming a strong national architectural style. In September 2018, after the self-assessment declaration of the museum, the evaluation by the provincial museum industry organization, the review by the experts organized by the National Museum Evaluation Committee, and the report to the State Administration of Cultural Heritage for the record, the China Association of Museums decided to approve the Xixia Museum as the third batch of national third-level museums.

8:00-18:00 from April 1st to October 31st, 8:00-17:30 from November 1st to March 31st of the following year.
