Baihaba is located in Habahe County, Altay Region, northern Xinjiang, adjacent to the Kanas Scenic Area. It is a small village inhabited by Kazakhs and Tuvas. The village is full of quaint log cabin buildings. There are rivers and trees beside the village, and several seasonal small snow-capped mountains behind it. The scenery is very beautiful. Every autumn, the leaves in the village are golden and brilliant, like a fairy tale world, it is a good place to watch the autumn colors. And at sunset in the evening, the snow-capped mountains on the opposite side turn red, which is a good time to shoot. In addition, Baihaba is close to the border, and there are also scenic spots such as the China-Kazakh Boundary Monument and the Zhonghua Forest, which are rare places for shooting.

To visit Baihaba, you can enter from two directions: Habahe County or Kanas Scenic Area, so there are two ways to play. If you enter from Kanas Scenic Area, you need to buy tickets and section tickets from the tourist center of Kanas Scenic Area, and get on the bus here. Shuttle trains only sell round-trip tickets (when there are few people in non-peak seasons, if there are vacant seats on the bus, one-way tickets will occasionally be sold, and the fare is variable). The departure and return time needs to be arranged according to the scenic spot. Generally, in the peak season, we will depart from Kanas scenic spot to Baihaba at around 4:00 pm on the first day. In the middle, we will go to several viewing platforms such as Narenxia Ranch, Zhonghua Forest, and China-Kazakh Boundary Monument. Take pictures and arrive at Baihaba before sunset. After shooting the sunrise the next morning, I took the original car back at ten o'clock. This way of playing is more hurried, but because the itinerary is connected to the Kanas scenic spot, it is now the main way of playing. If you want to stay in Baihaba for two more days without returning with the car, the ticket will not be refunded. You need to contact the village motorcycle to send it back to Kanas. You can also hike or rent a horse. The hiking route is 18 kilometers and the scenery is very good.

Another way is to enter from the direction of Habahe County. There is a bus every day at the gate of Habahe Passenger Station to Baihaba Village (private cars are not allowed to enter). If you want to enter the Kanas scenic spot after arriving at Baihaba, you need to contact the motorcycle in the village or go on foot or horseback. You can also take the shuttle bus back to Habahe County, but because the Kanas Scenic Area is a must-see in northern Xinjiang, few people choose the shuttle bus to return. This method is more suitable for tourists who have plenty of time and want to play leisurely, and they can go to the vicinity of Baisha Lake in Haba River before visiting Baihaba.

Baihaba is very similar to Kanastuva Village and Hemu Village in northern Xinjiang. The main scenery is the village composed of yellow leaves all over the mountains, small wooden houses, and clear rivers. However, this village also has its own unique features, that is, It's a beautiful sunrise and sunset. At this time, the light of Baihaba is soft, and the snow top of Xiaoxue Mountain will turn red, which is very suitable for shooting. The shooting location is on the hillside beside the road at the entrance of the village, where there is a stone tablet of Baihaba, which is very easy to find. The Zhonghua Forest and the China-Kazakhstan Boundary Monument viewing platforms that you will pass by when visiting Baihaba are just beside the border line. You can clearly see the iron grid on the border line and the woods and rivers of Kazakhstan on the opposite bank. There are canyons, The yellow leaves and other scenery are very beautiful.

When visiting the Baihaba scenic spot, you will stay in the village for one night. These are homestays run by Kazakh herdsmen. The environment of the wooden houses is beautiful, and most of the bosses are warm and honest. In recent years, the conditions in the village have improved, with standard rooms and multi-person beds available. In the B&B, you can also taste special food such as freshly milked milk and Baoersak. Although the price is slightly expensive, it is much more affordable than Kanas, Hemu and other scenic spots. There are only one or two small shops in the village with few commodities, but they sell some commodities from Russia and Kazakhstan, such as honey and cigarettes, and the prices are not expensive, so you can go and have a look.
