The White Horse Tower was first built in the later Qin Dynasty, and the current tower was rebuilt in the 24th year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1843-1844 A.D.). It is said that the famous Kucha monk Kumarajiva built it for his beloved white horse.
The tower body has nine floors and is 12 meters high. It retains the style of the Lama Temple in the Ming Dynasty in ancient times.
