Kulun Wind Farm Huadian Inner Mongolia Huiteng Xile Kulun Wind Farm project site is located in Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in Kulun Sumu, Chahar Right Middle Banner. The total area of the wind farm is about 53 square kilometers. The vegetation in the site is sparse, most of which are desert grasslands; the terrain around the site is undulating, with an average altitude of about 1430m. It is 180km away from Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the southwest, and 120km away from Jining City, the seat of Ulanqab City Government, in the southeast.
