World Cypress King Garden

The scenic spot is located in Baji Village, Bayi District, Nyingchi City, 6 kilometers away from the city hall. It is the closest "forest oxygen bar" to the city. The average altitude is between 3000 and 3200 meters. It belongs to the temperate humid monsoon climate, with abundant rainfall and sunshine throughout the year , Mild and dry in winter, humid in summer without high temperature, the annual average temperature is 8.5 ℃, and the climate is pleasant.

The numerous giant cypress trees in the scenic area are also called "Yarlung Zangbo River cypresses", and in Tibetan they are called "Laxin Xiuba", which means sacred trees. Among them, the largest giant cypress tree is 57 meters high and 5.8 meters in diameter at breast height. It takes more than a dozen adults to encircle it to hug it. In 2019, this giant cypress was reviewed and confirmed by the world certification agency as "the world's oldest giant cypress".

The World Cypress King Garden Scenic Spot is a sacred place in the minds of local Tibetans. It is said that the ancient cypress trees were transformed from the hair of Dunba Xinrao Miwoqie, the founder of the Bon religion. Among them, the certified "world king of cypress trees" is Dunba Xin Rao Miwoqie is the representative of the tree of life and the tree of soul.
