Wu Garden, also known as the Tainan Public Hall, is located on Minquan Road in Tainan. It was one of the four famous gardens in Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty, and it has gone through many years of history. Wu Yuan Art Museum was built by Qing Dynasty gentry Wu Shangxin in the 10th year of Qing Daoguang (1830 A.D.), hence the name. There are rockeries, ponds, pavilions and other facilities inside. Tainan Wu Garden, which has been in existence for more than 170 years, has become a highly recommended tourist attraction landmark in Tainan.
