Wu Zetian Memorial Hall, known as Zetian Temple by the common people, is located one kilometer north of Wenshui County, north of Nanxu Village. It is adjacent to Luliang Mountain in the west and Wenyu River in the east. It is a scenic spot with beautiful mountains and rivers.
Wu Zetian Memorial Hall covers an area of 26,000 square meters. Viewed from the central axis, there are mountain gates, statues, a stage, and the main hall; the two-winged halls include bell and drum towers, stele corridors, side halls, and side halls; Everywhere.
The main hall of Zetian Temple is the center of the temple buildings. It was originally built in the Tang Dynasty, and the existing structure was rebuilt in the fifth year of Jin Huangtong (1145), but a pair of Tang Dynasty gold pillars and some Tang tiles and Tang bricks are still preserved in the hall and on the top. The beams in the hall have been subjected to pressure for more than 800 years without bending. The whole building was rated as a masterpiece of Tang and Song architecture by experts. In the temple, there are displays of Wu Zetian's political achievements, historical materials of Wu Zetian's family, and displays of scenic spots and historic sites related to Wu Zetian across the country.
