Chengdu Wuhou Temple is where the temples commemorate Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang and other Shu Han heroes. It started when Liu Bei Hui Mausoleum was built in the first year (221) of Emperor Zhaolie Emperor Zhangwu of the Shu Han Dynasty. The Han Zhaolie Temple was also built while Hui Mausoleum was being built.

Around 500 A.D. during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Wuhou Temple was relocated from the "Shaocheng" of Chengdu to build next to Huiling and Zhaolie Temple of Han Dynasty. This pattern lasted until the Ming Dynasty. In the 23rd year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1390), Zhu Chun, king of Shu in the Ming Dynasty, went to worship at Wuhou Temple. He integrated Huiling, Han Zhaolie Temple, and Wuhou Temple on the grounds that "the emperor and his ministers should be one body", because Zhuge Liang was in the hearts of ordinary people. The influence in the temple exceeds that of Liu Bei, and the folk custom is called "Wuhou Temple".

The cultural relics area of Wuhou Temple in Chengdu is mainly composed of Huiling Mausoleum, Han Zhaolie Temple, Wuhou Temple, Sanyi Temple, etc. The main building is Wuhou Temple. Wuhou Temple is divided into the main gate, the second gate, Liu Bei Hall, Guoting Hall, Zhuge Liang Hall, Sanyi Temple, etc., arranged on a central axis from south to north. There are 50 statues of Shu Han heroes such as Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang enshrined in the temple. There are also many inscriptions and plaques about Zhuge Liang and the culture of the Three Kingdoms in the area.

The famous "Red Wall Bamboo Shadow" in Chengdu is in the scenic area, remember to take pictures.

The garden area of Wuhou Temple is located on the west side of Wuhou Temple. It was originally the cemetery of Liu Xiang, chairman of Sichuan Province during the Republic of China. There are stone arch gates, three-hole gates, square pavilions, Jianxin halls, tombs and other buildings in the area. It is the only one in Southwest China. A northern style cemetery complex. Wuhou Temple is adjacent to Jinli (Jinli Folk Custom Area), so you can visit it together.
